
Seniors Helping Seniors is a free senior-led initiative designed to support immigrant seniors, particularly Spanish-speaking and Latin American seniors, as they navigate life in Canada. Our mission is to foster social inclusion, promote active living, and provide access to essential information and resources that support healthy aging.
Why This Program Matters
Many immigrant seniors face challenges such as social isolation, language barriers, and limited access to resources. Additionally, concerns about elder abuse, financial exploitation, and cultural adaptation can create additional hardships. Our program provides a safe and welcoming space for seniors to connect, learn, and thrive in their communities.

Program Schedule
Seniors Helping Seniors will runs every Sunday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM in North York, ON. The first session will run for eight weeks from May 25 to July 20, 2025.
Seniors Helping Seniors is open to Spanish-speaking and Latin American seniors, with opportunities for other immigrant senior communities to participate. Led by a senior Program Director and dedicated senior and youth volunteers, we create a culturally sensitive environment where seniors can build friendships and support each other.
